Match Results Sunday 6th November

Today’s open was fished on Heron Lake. It really felt like winter and it fished like it too! A cold northerly wind and lots of rain made the going hard, here are the results:

1st Tony Jose peg 3 42lb 7oz
2nd Ricky Dennis peg 18 17lb 1oz

Tony caught mostly carp down the left had margin on corn. Well done mate.

Winter League Match Results Sunday 30th October 2016

We had the first match in our winter league today and with 16 fishing we pegged 8 on each lake as 2 sections and paid the top 3 on each. It was a pretty good day and some decent weights were had especially on Heron Lake. Here are the results:

Fir tree pond:

Sunday’s match saw 9 brave the strong easterly wind, in what turned out to be another close match on Heron lake, here are the results:

Match Results Sunday 16th October 2016

Today’s match was fished on Heron Lake. We had a good turnout despite the blustery wind, which the fish followed to one end. I sat watching Alex Bradley bagging on peg 3 and was convinced he’d done the £100 bonus! And with only 1oz separating 3rd and 4th it was close. Here are the results:

Today’s match was fished in beautiful autumnal sunshine on Heron Lake and not a bad day all round, everyone caught well and enjoyed their days fishing. Here are the results:
