Match Result Wednesday 5th October 2016

We held another mid week match on Wednesday. We had 10 turn up and I pegged everyone on Heron Lake. The going was a bit tough due to the strong south easterly wind but some decent weights were had and with only 12oz’s separating the top 2 it was a close match:

Match Result Sunday 2nd October 2016

We had a good number fishing today’s open and pegged both lakes. The warm autumn sunshine certainly helped as some decent weights were had especially on Heron Lake, here are the results:

As there was 6 in a section the £100 bonus is still up for grabs, sorry John, but well done mate, great nets of fish!

We had a mid week open match today for the first time in awhile and after the way Heron Lake fished at the weekend I was expecting some good weights but the fish had other ideas! We ran a silver’s pools along side the usual overall pools, here are the results:

New Venue Record on Sunday’s Match

Adrian Holland set a new venue record in today’s open fished on Heron Lake. Aide drew peg 3 and fished 8mm pellets for a stunning 134lb 4oz. Unfortunately for Aide as I wasn’t there so the £100 bonus is still up for grabs! Venue expert John Maundrell was second with 76lb 4oz from peg 9 and Tony Jose was third from peg 5 with 63lb 12oz. Well done Aide and a big thanks to Tony Jose for running the match in my absence.
There will be a mid week match this week on Wednesday, if you would like to fish please let me know.

2 Day Festival Result on Day 1 at Amalwhidden

The first day of the 2 dayer between Amalwhidden and kernow was fished here on Heron Lake. We are running individual’s and pair’s and the windy warm conditions really stirred things up and it fished well, here are the results:
