Match Results 2nd July

Bit of a low turn out for today’s match but a very close result on Fir tree pond. Chris Symons and Nigel Taylor both weighed 39lb 14oz in there first nets and it came down to there silver’s nets to decide the winner, here are the results:

1st Chris Symons peg 2 55lb 14oz 
2nd Nigel Taylor peg 15 53lb 7oz 
3rd Adrian Holland 28lb 10oz

Next Sundays match will be on Heron lake and we have a few booked already so hoping for a good turn out. Also we are going to start a golden peg next week so entry will be £22 if you want to be in it, but if not you can still pay £21 as normal, everyone welcome hope to see you there.

Match Result Sunday 25th June

Today’s match was fished on Heron Lake and it looks like peg 19 is back in form! I think the changeable weather may of played a factor today as weights were a bit lower than last week but it still fished well with only 4lb splitting the top 2, here are the results :

Match Result Sunday 18th June

I can’t quite believe how hot it was today and with a lot of fish cruising up in the water I thought it would fish hard but in fact it fished well with weights well spread around the lake.

Chris won the fathers day case of Stella for coming second and Paul decided to go for a dip! Shame you never found your top kit mate!

Match Result Sunday 4th June

Today was a silver’s only match held on Heron Lake. The skimmers seemed a bit elusive today, although some were caught most weights were made up by lots of small roach and typically no one avoided the odd carp and a smashed rig or 3! Here are the results:

Match Results Sunday 11th June

Today’s open was fished on Fir tree pond and with a few of the regulars away we had a walk off for a change. Adrian Holland drew 1 and went straight to peg 2 which of late has been an inform peg, but with a strong warm wind blowing over his head into peg 7 the better stamp of fish followed the wind where the venue expert had decided to sit. Here are the results:
