Winter League Results Round 6
Sunday just gone was our 6th winter league match. Ricky Dennis’s draw arm was working it’s usual magic and he pulled peg 9 on Fir tree from the bag and caught a shed full! With the wind and rain blowing from the south at the start of the match I changed a few pegs from the last winter league match to give some shelter, but this didn’t matter as through the day the wind swung round to the north! I had an over weigh and was only 8oz from disqualification! Here are the results:
Fir tree pond:
1st Ricky Dennis peg 9 64lb 6oz
2nd Adrian Holland peg 15 14lb 7oz
3rd Alan Roberts peg 2 8lb 14oz
Heron Lake:
1st Neil Hodder peg 2 55lb 4oz
2nd Tony Jose peg 11 28lb 14oz
3rd Jimmy Crossley peg 9 21lb 6oz
